Plus I am sure that Rob could 'splain it to dem boys ;)

The 1989 60 Series fortunately had a full floater option and the parts house actually knows what a 60 Series is. : )
??? HMMMMMMM I have been told (repeatedly) that FF was not an option in NA for 60/62. If so, we're talkin' unicorns and hen's teeth :)

Having never owned one, i will readily admit I don't know squat about a 60 Series however the parts house clearly showed that a 1989 60 Series had a full floater option and that was the seals we ordered. The dimensions clearly matched the current (bad) seal. It appears the dust cover is available from local Toyota.

I've been looking for an excuse to sand blast and repaint the rear hubs for quite a while. This issue creates the perfect opportunity. :)

I know .... I know....
But with two Cruisers in the hospital I was relegated to driving my wife's 4Runner which affected my judgement. :)

I am not sure that he will accept a temporary insanity plea ....

I just hope Dan appreciates the trauma associated with driving my wife's 2005 2WD 4Runner.

The matching acorn nuts were not available locally and had to be ordered. :)

Modifications are now complete and the ole truck is back home.

My freshly painted rear hubs will look spiffy when my stainless steel acorn nuts show up.

The aerodynamic aspects alone will add a couple of mph.
