Yup. Pritchett Canyon BABY!
I have been to Moab and will likely go again - possibly later this year..... But my 70 will not be going up Pritchett! My last venture there was in a lesser rig, but it was enough for me!

Actually I wouldn't put a 7x on that trail on a bet....

Fins 'n Things, Porqupine Rim, Hell's Revenge, Poison Spider, great trails.

I would however like to go up to Top of The World again ;). The view from there at sunrise or sunset is spectacular!

tech: I will want a bit of lift and a rear locker first.

Yup and Moab Rim will get you if you don't like heights and off camber stuff

How are you making out on decision making on gauges? Have you looked into auberins? I put some in mine and will post pics tomorrow when it's daylight.

They fit very nicely, very affordable, look more 'fitting' accenting the digital clock in my opinion. You can also fit up to six parameters to monitor if you felt so inclined.

I haven't ordered any gauges yet but probably will early next week. I appreciate the information and tips.

Perhaps you could convince one of the simulator maintenance guys to gift you one of those purty and big glass panel displays;)

On second thought, that would be too high tech

Well there are a lot to choose from. Perhaps I should just take a screwdriver in with me today.

However I'm not sure my dash is deep enough...... :)

I'm sure your guy is up to the challenge :hillbilly:

If I had access to this stuff back in the day I could have kept my 2L-TE. At least I would have had a "heads up" when it was about to explode.

Here's mine. http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_21&products_id=357

I haven't programmed the bottom two parameters but I'll be monitoring EGT, boost, oil pressure and water temp. I still have lots of space beside my gauges and I'm not sure if I'll add another gauge or fill it with switches. Time will tell.

What I like about these is they are accurate, I can fit up to six separate parameters, seem to have a good reputation, and cost me half of what people seem to spend on their auto meter variety.

A little too modern for my antique Cruiser. I'm going to stick with "old school".
Thanks for posting the photo however.

Absolutely. I wanted digital but understand it's not most people's tastes. You're going to be looking at these things all the time so best pick something that suits your tastes

Other than the radio and a crappy cup holder, my interior is basically original and I'm not even convinced I'll add after market gauges at this point.

If you need a 24V heater fan resistor, Yan (Akella on 'MUD) is your guy. I was able to source the 12V version (photo) but no one had the 24V version until I talked to him. :)
