The decals are basically an exact replica.
Thanks for the tip...... :)

The ole 2H is a couple of steps closer to rattling again ....... :)
The rebuild kit showed up today and I dropped the armor grooved pistons off at the machine shop.
The injectors showed up today also.

As I visited the machine shop today I realized I was surrounded by Cummings diesels and even a few large John Deere diesels but the machinist said he was enjoying working on my little Toyota diesel (his first ever). At first I was insulted that he referred to my mighty 2H as a little Toyota diesel but I left the shop smiling.
:D

The mouse that roared.

As opposed to "...like a pig!"?

The machine shop I am using also builds Cummings racing engines (850+ HP).
They asked if I wanted some "extra spunk" in my ole 2H. I politely declined. :)

Even a 100+ million dollar airplane needs a pyrometer ( EGT ... Exhaust Gas Temperature ).
We were running a cool 630 degrees (C). :D
Not a temperature you want to see on a 2L-TE.......

Anywhere from -45 to minus -65 C ( usually a little warmer over the Atlantic ) :)
We were at 40,000' when this photo was taken and climbed higher in the vicinity of Gander.

I bet the tarps flap like a biatch at that speed.

As of today I am officially out of Cruisers.
The HJ75 was already down with the engine rebuild and now the BJ74 is parked with a leaking radiator. For the next few days I am relegated to driving my wife's 4Runner. ( embarrassing but at least it's still a Toyota ). :)
