Something to be said for a vehicle you can push out of the garage with one
hand. :D
"Mehari" is supposedly French for camel.

Hello,

You got me. By now you are probably certain that my Frog, er, French knowledge is marginal at best... :o

Thank you for pointing this out.

I have already corrected my post.

Mehari Armée would then be French for Army Camel. And well, you can push a camel with one hand... Provided it does not kick or something.

Juan

FJ Cruiser thats a sore point as we don't get...except for a few imported.:p

US market is circa 28kUSD, here its 100kUSD due to import tax.
What can we do? Malaysia government want to protect Proton & Perodua. They sacrifice whole forest to save one tree.

While it is certainly not a Land Cruiser the goofy thing probably has " descent " off road capability because it has no drive train ( front wheel drive ) and independent suspension. Not to mention it weighs 5 pounds.:D

Sent from my iPad using IH8MUD... fun starts where the road ends

BINGO :D ..... Sharp eye.

Have to come clean, I noticed the citroen logo above the L/H taillight and searched citroen moke, came up with pictures of citroen mehari. :D Cant say Ive seen any in NZ, similar to VW Thing though, very rare to see any of them here also. The Mehari would be a fun little summer cruiser.

Considering you cheated you should return the trophy and cash prize. :D
The hood was removed to hide the logo but I didn't realize there was an additional logo on the rear.

i was trying the same trick, after all that is what the interweb is all about right? cheating and stealing ideas?

My buddies.........Even though I once owned a LJ78, I do have "standards" which don't include the pride of the French Army. :D
My friend actually has two of the goofy looking things.

sorry to say but i would rather have 2 of the goofy looking things than a LJ78 ...

Remember with enough $ you can improve the LJ78. I am not sure the same applies to the French Mobile. :)

My HJ75 is about to witness it's first hurricane. I guess I will find out if it leaks anywhere. :D

saw that on the weather channel, lock her down.

might be a good time to borrow your buddies "bathtub" (citroen mehari) and go for a float ...

That will look good on my tombstone ...... The idiot drowned in a Citroen Mehari. :D

Both of the Mehari's belong to a friend and I assume it is his intentions to sell them.

Sorry but this photo seems to have caused some confusion. I own the HJ75...not the BJ70. I was simply pointing out that there a three 70 Series Cruisers in my small home town ( probably the highest concentration of 70 Series in the
U.S. :D) The BJ70 is still owned by "C-A-R-S.com" and is still for sale as far as I know.
Sometimes there are four 70-series cruisers in my driveway . . . along with the 105.

weeelllll,
i will raise you:
i have 2 X 75 troopies, 2 X 75 pickups, 2 X 70 ragtops and 2 X 70 hardtops sitting in my back yard ...

your bid ...

in Canada. No problem.

Try acquiring 70-series trucks in the US and then sing that song. ;)

The OP specified "in the US".

Okay let me try again. First of all I did not mean to start an international incident
Between the States and Canada. Secondly I should have stated: the most 70 Series
PER CAPITA of any city in the U.S. :D ( a town of approximately 50,000.) Now everyone shake hands. :)
