Wait another 25 years and you might be able to buy some of the lhd brand new hzj79s our mines are starting to import

Found a LHD non mine HZJ75 that slipped through the cracks in 1995.
Diamond in the rough but fully manageable.
I'll know more when I have it in May.

RoscoFJ73.......When you said thick cushion I had no idea you meant that thick. You could use that thing to support the truck while you changed a flat tire.:D Cool looking dog ( he looks like he is daring you to try to move him.)

buddy, i hope it isn't the one with all the boost lines run into the dash with a god awful interior ...
that truck has been run hard and put away wet.
i believe there were 3 that slipped through the cracks back then at a Toyota Stealership.

a dog says a lot about the master ...
that one seems pretty laid back and trusting.
what breed is he?

I wish I could be as good as a dog in some areas.

She is Staffordshire bull terrier, they say they share a common ancestor with pit bulls but without the temperment.
They were originally bred for people to bet on rat baiting after the english govt outlawed bull and bear baiting.
A good staffy could kill 10-12 rats a minute in the ring and the all time champ averaged 15 a min.

To get 2 inches of height you need a 4 inch cushion,or maybe this one is 5 inches.
Next time I make one(this is number 2,the 1st one lasted 2-3 years and is now the dogs or the girlfriends ,depending on who gets to it 1st LOL) ,I will cut it to fit the curve of the back of the chair.
I have a friend who makes lounge furniture and he does them up for a few beers.

We have disagreements on who sits where on a daily basis. I usually have to make her a comfy bed elsewhere and carry her there and even then she runs back and we have to do it all again:mad:.
Right now she is making her self comfortable in my TV chair, but not for long:D

Damn ,no more cheap utes at the auctions ,but maybe someone will set up a conversion shop.
But they wont comply with a the emissions laws anyway.

Found some minor obstacles this morning driving into the hunting property.
I entertained the idea of just driving over them until I realized I did not have a lid on my coffee cup.:D:D

Nore the no air bags.
I have a mate who just bought a rolled 2011 vdj79 for 18g only roof and bonnet damage ,the bull bar and tray roll bar saved the rest, even if a new cab and bonnet were 5g, 23g is better than paying 48g,so long to these bargains when the lhds take over

Plenty of coyotes and foxes but no Roos. With the exception of the occasional Florida Panther that is slowly migrating into Southern Georgia, I am still at the top of the "food chain." :D

Shouldn't be that one.
It's one of the three, two to the lower mainland and one up north.

I assume you are looking at a Canadian mine truck?

these were brand new off the lot, it was a mistake that Toyota made and they were street legal ...
you would think that Toyota would have taken the hint back then... silly boys.

Perhaps I am being dense but when you say new do you mean new as in setting on a Toyota's dealers lot or new as in "unused"" by the mines?

as in "new on the dealers lot"

Cool......New stuff......That makes my ole antique Land Cruiser seem like a ....well....
like an antique.:)

Could any more be able to slip through? Was it more the fault of Toyota offering them or savvy, sweet talking buyers just getting them? And why would you ever let it get to "Diamond in the rough" condition. He must have known what he had.

it was an ooops and no, it won't happen again.
the serial numbers on the new ones heading to the mines are now being recorded and the mine it is sold to recorded. there is a complete paper trail with each new truck as of 2009 (if i remember the conversation correctly)
