My kids loved my 60, even more than my 80! It was everything from a princess carriage to a beastly tree hauler. A 60 is tough to give up, especially for a 'generic' ride.Don't sell it! I have an 87 Silver that looks just like yours. I also have a 3 year old daughter and an 18 month old son. The car seats fit just fine in the back and there is plenty of room for the dog in the way back. My wife even drives me around in it some instead of her Subaru. My daughter calls it "The Beast" and my boy constantly points to it l, says truck and walks up to the door wanting a ride. A 4Rinner or Highlander can't do that for you.
Good luck if you do, however. When is it going to be on BaT? I'll be curious to see what it goes for.
Auction is open on Bring a Trailer: 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60
How much of your paint is original?
I was obviously hoping for more, but I like the auction style because the market sets the price. Sounds like it is going to a good home in Texas.Curious if the $8250 it sold for is something you are happy with. The hype can be pretty strong on BaT (and was with yours) with certain vehicles so I feel like they got it right.
ha. so good. just had our 60 be written off. our 3 yr old daughter loved it, and us too!! sad to see it in its current shape. My kids loved my 60, even more than my 80! It was everything from a princess carriage to a beastly tree hauler. A 60 is tough to give up, especially for a 'generic' ride.
YesWait, is the B@T 60 and the CL 60 the same ride?
