1985 FJ60 Feeler 107,xxx original miles
SOLD SOLD SOLD
Hi guys,
I'm thinking about selling my FJ60 and wanted to hear some imput from you.
I have owned this 60 for about 4 years. It has been a great vehicle for all of our outdoor adventures. I have invested quite a bit into it. I purchased it with 94,000 miles completely stock. It has typical rust in the rear 1/4's and rocker panels, also a small amount on the drivers door and A-pillar. I have almost all receipts and records from my ownership and from previous owners. With one recent receipt around $3,000.00 from Safari Ltd. in Grand Junction. This cruiser starts eveytime, it was -12 the other morning, pull the choke, pump two or three times and it fires right up. This is my daily driver, yes I drive it to work at 6:00am and back home at 3:30, round trip 5 miles. My wife and I drove it fully loaded to Cruise Moab 09 without a problem. It has also seen most of the backcountry roads here in CO. I have taken care of this 60, it's tight and has never been rodded.
Here's a list of what has been done.
-Ironman Suspension Lift
-MAF shackle reversal
-Heckethorn steering damper
-MAF stainless steel brake lines
-Centerforce clutch
-33x10.50/15 radial Super Swampers...1/2 tread
-Set of extra steel wheels with worn Michelins
-SOR 2 1/2 inch rear shackles
-CC black satin Aussie mirrors
-Pro Comp shocks from Specter
-Safari snorkel with pre-cleaner and aussie filter can with carb plenum
-Full MAF 2 1/4 downpipe back exhaust with new Flowmaster Delta 40, currently not smog legal, we don't have emissions testing here. All factory smog equipment still under the hood, whether it works or not is up to you.
-Hella map light
-CB
-Scanner
-Aussie rear sliding windows
-Aussie inclometer and clock
-FJ62 passenger grab bar
-Old style ARB bullbar, with yellow Hella 500's
-Warn XD9000i winch, modified to fit, top cut off and rolled on its back, solenoids mounted behind front valance
-Wilderness 5'x7' roof rack with metal flooring, I might be keeping this.
-The following was done by Safari Ltd. in 02/09..$3,012.00
-Complete overhaul of the braking system including the handbrake, rotors/drums machined, brakes work great!
-Complete new clutch and components..Centerforce, machine flywheel, rear main seal.
-Manifold machined(had the typical leakeage happening when I bought it), new cap, rotor, seals, valve adjustment, tuned and adjusted to run at spec ...have all paperwork.
-Rear driveshaft rebuilt with OEM Japanese ujoints.
-Recently new battery, alternator and starter.
All fluids changed at regular intervals, does have a small oil leak coming from the pan gasket.
There may be some other things I forgot.
It has the stock gearing and stock 4spd. My next plans were going to be the H55 with lower gearing and lockers but something has come up.
I really don't want to sell this but it's time for someone else to enjoy it. I'm not hurting for cash, this is not a fire sale, I'm simply looking at a new project.
Current Miles: 107,XXX original documented with my receipts and previous owner.
I would like to get $7,500 out of it to start my new Cruiser project.
I'm located in Western, CO.

I'll post up some new pics when it's not freezing cold out, here are a couple to give you an idea.
This Cruiser is a 1985 and has typical dents, dings, scratches, flaws......so on and so forth. It is not a trailer queen or plaza cruiser it has been carefully used for its intended purpose.
