Putting Ol' Turdy up on the block. I've owned this truck since 132k and I purchased it from the second near Albany, Or and it was originally purchased in Klamath Falls.
It has the original paint, some minor wacks and dings, a pretty good one in the rear tailgate. No rust to speak of other than where the paint is thin or there is a scratch. OME 2.5" suspension w/ the greasable shackles & poly bushings- OME shocks and steering stabilizer too, ARB bumper in the front with an 8274, pretty fresh Optima red top, synthetic luhe in everything except the motor , the last 30k it had Amsoil but put in Delo after the head/engine work- will get changed again, The synthetic seeped a lot and I haven't dripped all but a tiny bit in 3 or 4 months. Interior is in great shape except- seats are good, dash is awesome (OEM replaced), the headliner has a couple of tiny holes and the cargo carpet it shot.
I recently replaced the head with a good used one due to a tiny seep on the top (possible cast flaw- never overheated just found it while adjusting valves) and engine gaskets were replaced, plugs, carb rebuild kit, oil galley fix, desmog, filters, belts, hoses as needed (all the hard ones were replaced), Rear main seal, clutch about 5,000 miles ago all new and OEM part except slave cylinder is old, tranny and T-case resealed, t-case: replaced bushings, seals and idler bearings and heater blower was replaced with a better used.
I also added a power antennae and the fj62 grab bar. The tires are 33x9.5 BFG's and are near the end. I can swap out the tailgate in either a brown or a silver in better shape. The stereo is an old cassette type and the AC used to work and has since lost its charge- I seldom used it so I don't recall when it quit working.
I will post some more pictures up later. It is a clean mostly stock rig that has been super reliable but I have some other projects that need my attention.. It will be sorely missed.
