body looks decent,

It's okay. There's rust in the rear wheel arch and across the bottom of the tailgate. Passenger doors are dented.

I also have a 3BII for sale in the diesel section...if someone was wanting to keep this diesel. I have the bell housing and a clutch too, you'd just need to find a transmission.

Dan, hope I'm not stepping over the line here, but I have a "B" input 4 speed with transfer, if someone is buying this package.

Not at all. I would rather see this get put back on the road, then scrapped. I'm tempted to do it myself, but have too many other projects and no space for another.

TTT

i agree it would be nice to see it back on the roads how much money would that take you think.

Not sure, depends on what you want in the end. I've brought 'cruiser's back to life with very little money...I've also spent way too much on one component, like an engine rebuild.

Do you know if this can be registered in CA even though it is a diesel?
Not sure if the diesels were imported into the US or if they were offered for sale.

If I can bring it into CA it would allow me to work around some of the SMOG laws.

Thanks

I don't know why it wouldn't be able to be registered in CA. As far as 'working around' the smog laws, not sure how this would help you.

Although, as it has no motor, it's current emissions are zero...

I am looking to build a semi-crawler family rig and put a GM 5.3/6.0 in it. We do not have to smog diesels in CA so I wouldn't have to worry about that if I picked this one up.

Yeah, give me a day or two.

Sorry it took so long, the holiday side tracked me a bit.

Here's the rust wheel arch and bottom of tailgate.

No, title says nothing about what fuel it burns. It is an original BJ60, JT3BJ60G1E0012563 , is the VIN.

And here are close-ups of the dents.
