1984 BJ42 and 1981 FJ40 package price $16500, located near Vancouver/whistler BC, both landcruisers run Perfect and both can be driven anywhere and have no major issues other the then rusted 84 tub and fenders, please read below
I purchased this 42 with the intentions of doing the aqualu tub/tail gate and fenders swap and then decided to buy a mint FJ40 with aqualu tub, tail gate, fender and every single part needed to make a fully restored 84 LHD 42 loaded with soft top and perfect hard top
I was intentially going to buy a tub/tailgate and fenders from Aqualu for 5500$ + shipping but found this complete perfectly running 40 with amazing parts that was similar in price but had so many additional parts that I was planning on selling or using if needed to finish the 42 The frame on the 84 BJ42 is as mint as they come! No Rot, no rust what so ever!!!!! Take 1 day to swap the tub, I have no time and that is why I'm selling it
Recent work done on the 42
Previous owner had power steering pump and clutch rebuilt.
New thermostat and housing.
New bearings and seals on front axel.
New routers and brakes all around.
Original white 84 toyota rims(not shown) with basically new tires
Full greasable EMU kit, shackles, springs, pins and rear shocks.
New universal joints.
3B runs flawless!!!!!!!!
The bad:
Rusted out tub and fenders.
Recent work and info on the FJ40
1981 Toyota FJ40, factory power steering,rebuilt 2f motor and transfer case with receipts from EBI
Aqualu Aluminum tub/tail gate and front fenders. Bare aluminum, never yet painted
Rebuilt 4sp standard trans,
recent mint besttop soft top
mint condition steel doors
new windshield from EBI with receipts

Full recent lift kit
Both cruisers have clean legal titles in my name, no liens
