I had an 83 chassis from a 40 that got burned in a house fire, sold it to Cruiserparts.net , the guy i bought it from sold the vin tags and title to another guy so there is at least one fake 83 out there.

Here's my recently acquired US Spec 1983. VIN JT3FJ40C6D3362920. Documented 78500 miles. Factory PS, TLC Stage 1 restoration performed in 2004 when OME suspension, Warn winch, and AC were added.
