Here’s your chance to own an Icon that will only increase in value. This is a very good example of the FJ-43 Toyota Land Cruiser which is an extended wheel base model over the FJ-40. These FJ-43’s are said to be more sought after than the 40’s because there were less made and they offered more passenger and cargo space. I think it rides better too!

I bought this truck out of a collection in Odessa Texas. It was clearly restored not long ago as the rubber seals, paint, interior etc. are extremely nice.

The FJ has the 2F six cylinder gasoline engine and it runs strong and is clean as a whistle. The transmission is a four speed and it has power steering and power brakes. The top looks brand new as do the tires. I hold a clear Texas title. This is a VERY nice rig.

It is a good looking truck, love the 43 wheelbase and proportions.

Please do your due diligence in regards to buying South American import landcruisers. The majority of them look great from far, but are far from great. Not trying to take any wind out of your sails, just make sure you do as many pre purchase inspections as you can to verify condition of the mechanicals and do a thorough inspection of body work with magnet and looking up underneath the tub in all typical areas of repair sill, rockers, floors.

99% chance the frame rails are cracked and poorly repaired behind the front spring mount. Most Colombian 43's are like this

they always look great in pictures that the seller took!

Sadly I think this may be a scam. Seeing the same truck listed as 79 on some sites and 82 on others.

Doubt it's a scam. I have met this guy before and he is local to my area of San Antonio. Definitely an over priced South American rig. He's pretty well known as a junk dealer. Has some cool stuff here and there, but alot of overpriced junk.
