A few years ago I bought an FJ60 to go with our 77 FJ40. We ended up selling the 40 so my wife could get a "new" used van for the addition of a new child. My oldest daughter, whom the 40 was going to, still wants a 40 for her transportation. I bought the latest FJ60 for that reason, but the 40 is still pulling at her. I would be willing to trade my FJ60 for a comparable FJ40, would love for it to be sprung over, but not required. Hard top is a must as well as doors that work and a rig that doesn't leak. Would prefer the original carb and engine as well as ambulance doors over the earlier hatchback/tailgate.
My FJ60 is an 82' Original headliner is in great condition, seats in good condition, AC works great, (my daily driver). ARB front and rear bumpers, rock rails, roof rack. 35X12.5X10 shoes. I also have a seat of extra front 60 seats that are mounted in the back, so the 60 will seat 7. passenger door has a dent, (was that way when we bought it). Rig is snorkeled as well as has the upgraded headlight wiring.
I also have a backcountry trailer that could come with it, depending on trade value.
