1982 FJ-60 140,000 showing on odometer. Bought this last year, and have decided I need something more suited for a lot of daily driving in the city. Love the truck just not in the cards right now. Truck has 5.7 Chevy motor with TBI, engine runs great approximately 90,000 on conversion. Runs awesome! Advanced Adapters Ranger Overdrive. Less than 3,000 miles on BFG KO2's still under warranty at Big O. Body is in awesome shape, no rust and recent paint job. Interior is in good shape, typical tear on drivers side seat. I'd give it a 7/10. Has new Kenwood deck, amp speakers and sub. Smitty built center console and cb radio. Everything works as it should, Suspension and steering components are in excellent shape and are tight with no sag.
$13,500 for mud members. Located in Manitou Springs, CO. Hit me up if you have any questions. Shannon 719 216-1475

You don't mention if it will pass emissions. Colorado has strict emissions and u need a cat and egr working. Also I don't see air conditioning. Both are big hits against price. But mainly emissions is a issue because it makes the vehicle undriveable.

Thanks for pointing that out. I have no idea about emissions, the Denver area is the only place in Colorado that requires an emissions test, so a mute point for most of the state (by electoral college standards.) It has the Toyota parts of the AC, but not the engine parts. What would you price it at? Thanks for your time.

Well Jefferson County requires emissions. Denver does as well. Without emission equipment or ac, I would say 7 or 8k. That's just what Ive seen in the past Fj60s go for with a v8. Not trying to be a jerk at all. V8s consist of custom work, so getting it repaired takes special abilities which limits your group size of people interested. And nobody enjoys adding the emissions equipment and jumping through hoops. But u can always slowly lower the price over time and see when interested parties start showing up. That's when u know your close on price.

I would consider JeffCo the Denver area, but whatever. That's a really good point about the emissions stuff though, I'll do a little research and adjust to some sort of middle ground. I would think the 7-8k would be on the super low side considering the condition of the body, paint, suspension, etc. Good idea about bringing it down slowly, just don't think I'd drop it by 50%.

I disagree with the above comments about V8's. Most mechanics should be familiar with the 5.7 AND parts are super easy to come by (and much cheaper). I don't think the V8 lowers the value at all. This is all coming from someone with the original 2F. Probably wouldn't take much to get A/C going. I think you're priced right for today's market. A year or two ago, probably closer to 10-11k. GLWTS!
