A very nice truck, nicely posed, but I question the "it has not been restored." Many South/Central American trucks have been highly restored over recent years and there seems to be a market here in the USA for them. Some have lived a very hard life, been beaten to death, and then "recreated." Many have stories indicating a former peaceful life on a remote coffee plantation owned by a wealthy padrone. On this particular truck, besides the more than just the body repaint, there are signs of replating and refurbishment. Beautiful for sure. But, "all original parts" may be replacements not original to this truck. The interior and the engine compartment would not have weathered from the pictured background display to a degree needing re-doing, unless trying to match the redone exterior.
Likely from a wealthy collector with the funds to restore vehicles to beyond their original factory production condition, and then display them proudly. Not just an isolated phenomenon, there are collectors in the Middle East who have gone further in their quest to create "factory originals" by wrapping parts in pre-delivery plastic sheeting and replicating factory crating with near-perfect stenciled wording using the correct fonts.
Perfectly understandable to some, and certainly a magnificent collection and showplace, but without more detail, I question the degree of "originalness" if a sales pitch for that is somehow being vaguely promoted. To some, collecting authentic factory original vehicles is an all-encompassing passion; to others, a complete waste of time and money. The words "original" and "restoration" mean different things to different people; and collectors are willing to pay dearly based upon authentication and reputation. However, trying from afar to establish a value based on a few photos can be a recipe for a financial disaster.
As has been requested, an asking price and more disclosure can enlighten the audience and potential interested buyers here. I, too, would like to know more.
Obviously, my thoughts and opinions--YRMV.
