eBay 1982 FJ40 with 12HT and H55F

Hi Guys, one of our clients has decided to sell his 12HT converted FJ40. New low price is $24,000, feel free to email us or PM for more info.


Here's a brief description of the work we did to it:


  1. 12HT diesel engine installed last year, engine had 250k km's on the clock when we removed it from a 1989 HJ61 half cut
  2. H55F transmission was installed, originally from Toyota dealer bought brand new
  3. New clutch and rear main seal, machined flywheel, etc
  4. Engine was torn down to long block and re-sealed, new belts, water pump, paint, etc with all OEM parts
  5. Rebuilt turbo
  6. Ceramic coated turbo exhaust housing and exhaust manifold
  7. Cleaned and painted block and accessories
  8. Added 2nd alternator for extra electrical system
  9. Rebuilt and re-wound 24 volt alternator for 12 volts
  10. re-worked starter for 12 volts instead of 24 (Using factory Toyota parts)
  11. Custom power steering lines made with hard and soft lines
  12. Transfer case was rebuilt with new bearings and gaskets (FJ62 split case was used)
  13. custom crossmember brackets created, and used factory brace for transmission mount
  14. FJ60 power steering box was mounted on reinforced frame for better steering
  15. new tie rod ends installed and custom drag link for FJ60 steering box
  16. Custom dual battery tray installed for starting/running batteries
  17. Custom battery tray for secondary battery
  18. Electrical harness installed for accessories, truly separate from main harness with it's own alternator and battery
  19. Secondary switching panel to control accessories on system
  20. H4 headlight upgrade
  21. Front knuckle rebuild with new bearings, seals, brake calipers and pads
  22. Replaced rear diff with a lower mile unit
  23. Custom gauge bezel CNC machined to fit Moal Bomber gauges
  24. 10 custom gauges installed to tell speed, RPM, temp, oil, volt 1, volt 2, fuel 1, fuel 2, boost, pyro
  25. Secondary fuel tank to double fuel capacity with switching valve to select tank
  26. Stereo with cd, mp3, connected with waterproof speakers in rear
  27. Lockbox mounted in cab for secure storage
  28. CB radio mounted under dash
  29. Inverter mounted in rear cabin
  30. rearview camera mounted on upper windshield frame
  31. OME Old Man Emu heavy lift kit with caster correction, shocks, steering stabilizer, new u-bolts, greasable shackles
  32. ARB Bull bar with winch mount
  33. 4+Plus rear swing away bumper with tire and fuel can carrier
  34. 5' hi-lift mounted on rear bumper
  35. additional backup lamp mounted on bumper
  36. KC lights and LED lights on front bumper
  37. Ford F250 shock towers
  38. new front and rear custom drivelines by "Drivelines NW"
  39. Custom exhaust tucked up above the frame rail

Titled as a gasser in WA AFAIK.. Reserve is 25k

Would the owner be interested in fixing the title for the deserving buyers in CA? As is, it is not transferrable, but with a quick trip to the WA DMV changing the fuel type, it would then be a trivial transfer of title.
 
There are floorboard pics on the link, I think. They're solid. 3.7 diffs.

He hasn't decided whether he wants a cruiser or a Tacoma. You can send me details on your 80 though, he might be interested
