For Sale 1982 Fj40/Carlsbad

Hi, does anyone in San Diego area know about the white 82 fj40 on Craigslist for sale? The guy didn't leave any contact info. It's located in Carlsbad.

Original paint means nothing when you have to replace the floor boards and weld the holes in the rear 1/4's. I just think this rig needs a thorough inspection based on things that appear to be missing.

Heads up, @surf40 ... They ALWAYS need a thorough inspection... Either hire a competent inspector for a couple hundred bucks or, find an experienced MUDbrother to accompany you...

inspection sounds good. I think I just had beer goggles after seeing the year and color. Lol
I've really been looking all over the west coast for a late model Fj40. Prices are so inflated now. Everything is $10k+ for rust

Completely goofed on the craigslist ad, somehow clicked no email responds. Was shocked I received no response the past two weeks until I figured it out this morning. Posted hundreds of Craigslist ads and never had this happen, honest mistake.

Completely open to have an independent assessment from a local MUD member.
