So I have a steering Column from a 1982 FJ40 that I am tearing down to refinish. My original plan was to possibly use it with power steering but I may go another route.
Anyways I was thinking of powder coating the tube and noticed what looks to be a plastic bushing/ring. Is this removable without ruining the ing? I wouldn’t think it would hold up to baking for powder coat.
