Ok, I am trying to figure out all the benefits to having 1980's Engine, Running Gear/Drivetrain and 4 speed trans (I Know 4spd is good.) What about the others? Is it more durable and/or more horsepower? Thanks again everyone!!

2F started in 1/75 and went to 8/87. There were many changes over the years. The four speed started earlier in the 74 model year. Changed tailshaft in 8/80 from sixteen spline to nineteen spline to mate to the split transfer case (improvement). With the 8/80 transmission and split transfer case came a different mounting system. Instead of the rear motor mounts on the bell housing it uses a crossmember under the transmission. In mid 85 the transmission got a spacer on the back to keep it the same lenght as the H55F. All rear axles imported to the US were 4.11s (a very few real early cruisers had higher gearing) until 79 when they went to 3.70s. Back to 4.11s with the FJ62 model.
You don't need a crossmember!! Search is your friend....
