Hey guys,
I'm a newbie here and need some help. I've sorta been looking for a FJ45 project for about a year now and have been checking out this site almost every day, but I haven't had much to ask or much to say so I've been kind of hanging out on the sidelines waiting my turn.

I think I'm about to buy a 1978 FJ45 LWB that was originally sold in Canada and I am wanting to know if there is a way to determine if the engine is original. I searched around on the site and couldn't find what I was looking for. I also searched for instructions on how to post pictures but couldn't find anything, hopefully the way I did this is OK. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have more pictures from different angles if needed. I also have a lot of other pictures of the truck and would like to ask additional questions but I want to make sure that I am doing this right.

Thanks,
Marvin

Yes, It is the one for sale in Oklahoma. Do you know much about it? I haven't seen it in person yet, but from the pictures it looks like a reasonable project to me. I am open to any and all feedback about this truck. If there is bad news, I'd sure like to know about it before I spend my money on it.

Looks pretty similar to my 78 FJ45. Alt is in the same location at least.
