Well I suppose when the money runs out its time to move on. I'm shifting priorities again in life and the 40 is in a position where I am content and ready to let it go.
It has been my daily driver since I 'finished' assembling the truck for about 2.5 years. Usually sees 50-70 miles per day during the week on pavement. It hums along happily at about 70mph but can hang at 80 if needed. A majority of the details are in the thread below:

High level breakdown:
1. 2F sourced from a 1983 Fj60.
2. 2F has every seal replaced with OEM, manifolds are cerakoted and aluminum vapor honed. Headgasket is original and still holds great compression.
3. Original transfer case and transmission is in the truck and works flawlessly, does not pop out of gear or grind when swapping gears.
4. Most everything in the truck as been disassembled and cleaned/regreased. The axles have not been serviced in quite a while but they don't leak.
5. Transfer case leaks a little - I have a rebuild kit to include or I can rebuild if the buyer prefers (I haven't seen a need to rebuild yet) so I've held off.
This truck is perfect for the person who wants a turn-key driver to enjoy.
Price is set at $25k

Builds - Olive '78 Fj40
Poured a bourbon, bought a new toolbox and decided to get on 'mud for the first time in what feels like ages. In less than a year, I quit my job, traveled around in my mustard 40, started a new...business? and sold my mustard 40 to fund said venture. Well - little did I know I'd have an open...
