Anyone have any solid resources for replacement glass seals on the four rear glass seals? No kick-out side windows, all four are fixed. I've got the ambulance door glass under control. I see Cruiser Corps has the rear corner seals, but the only place I can find the side glass seals are on Ebay:

Side note...I'm being told by my Toyota dealership that the driver/passenger belt seals and window runs are discontinued. Any solid resources for those?

Thanks guys.

I have one NOS side glass weatherstrip. $100 shipped if paid by MO; $110 if by PP. Leave a voicemail at my shop if you are interested. Contact info in my signature line and my avatar.

Would this work?

For what it's worth, I've had several orders with City Racer and every experience has been excellent. Actually, let's make that Outstanding.

If you have questions, he'll be glad to answer them thoroughly and promptly. He ships quickly and the quality of the parts has uniformly been excellent. His prices have consistently been reasonable as well.

I recommend City Racer highly!!!

So, window seals make you nervous? I have my ambulance door passenger window over 8 weeks..still trying randomly to install it back with a new seal. Each time I try, I give up after 20 minutes. I decided I’m not taking it out in the winter salt so I’ll eventually get it installed or have to bring it to an auto glass shop

I installed my 3 rear windows with this stuff. Was relatively easy for a first time try. I bought 50’ which was was too much. I had planned on doing the side ones too but went a different route for those. I think I had estimated about 40’ would do them all and cover mistakes.

If you take a look on CR website (I believe on his windshield gasket), there is a video using the string method where you install a string in the groove/lip that's on the window gasket. This is the groove that sits in the metal frame of the door. It's a two-person process where one person needs to be on the outside holding the window and the other person working the string from inside. I found if you sort of got the bottom lip started and use Glass Plus as a lubricant that it works pretty easy. I installed all the glass on my 77 like this. There were a few areas that I needed a plastic interior trim tool to run under the lip of the exterior gasket to let it seat properly.

@FJROSS …well thank you for this information. I do realize the key is having a second person to avoid dropping the glass on the other hand as of last week, my rubber seals have all been addressed, including a new windshield in the front, which had one of those little BB gun style chips in it right in front of the driver‘s right eye.

How did I get all this done? I sent it out to Jesse @Jdc1 at Rubber City Land cruisers in Akron, who has been helping me resolve a series of modifications and upgrades. It’s a long post but since you’re in Carlstadt and I work in Hackensack, I’ll meet you at IKEA parking lot ha ha ha
