Price Reduced $28950.00! Here is a beautiful example of a very nice restoration. One that you can drive and everyone will truly appreciate! Finished in Rustic Green with black interior and white top, this FJ40 was restored a few years back. The body panels line up very well, and there are no major rust issues with the truck. The engine bay was refinished, but now is showing signs of needing to be refreshed. The undercarriage was done as well, but now shows the signs of the truck being driven. Not a number one, garage queen car, but an extremely nice, well above average driver. Help! Hi can you guys tell me what the market value is of this FJ 40. I would really like to sell it. thanks William Franklin 210-279-4949

Most fj40's listed above 30k sit for a while from my observations. Not to say yours is not worth over $30k. Documentation of restoration will be an asset to you and at this price there should be ZERO rust. Most cruiser heads have a serious fear of rust because these cars rust pretty easily with some years rusting more easily than others. Just my .02 so take it for what it's worth.

just my .02......you would need many more pictures, or a link to a photobucket or similar hosting site. also for the price listed, I would expect to have non faded turn signals on the front fenders. the engine looks to be desmogged, which would limit the market it could sell into.
hard to see in the engine pic, but it appears the tube for the 1 smog pump line is open and thus letting unfiltered air into the carb.
The wiper fluid reservoir is not correct. and there is no air inlet tube and snorkel.
it is a nice looking rig, but probably more in the $22,000-25,000 range

Who/where/when was restoration done on this? Agreed on needing many more pictures--chassis, undercarriage, wheel wells, trunk space, etc. Was it's entire life down in TX?

I'll second the $20K-$25K estimate, but probably closer to lower end of that range. This is nowhere near a $36K truck.

It should also have short jump seats and a factory roll bar? What happened there? I am also not a fan of a black floorboard. Those were body color normally. I like a liner but a color tinted one retains more of a factory look.

Maybe auction it. That seems to be where the money is at. GLWS!

Update Moving on up. Thanks for all the visits to the Web site. Call 210-279-4949 William Franklin

Love the color... Actually my favorite for the cruiser... But wow, $36,950... Just say $37,000.00 is pretty amazing. Good luck with the sale!

Finished in Rustic Green with Black interior and white top, this FJ40 was restored a few years back. The body panels line up very well and there are no rust issues with the truck. The engine bay is very presentable. The undercarriage frame rails floor panels are all solid and straight. This vehicle also comes with some pretty good records and documentation. Quickly becoming a very desireable collector vehicle, now is the time to get into a high quality example like this before they just simply get out of reach!

Thank you for the opportunity to share this Land Cruiser with the membership. We are really blessed to be Americans. This forum is such a great gift. We are off a highway in San Antonio and this baby draws many visits daily. Each visitor with their own individual story. I want to help. Call me if you need any more information. a 37k truck would have attention to detail of the little things - new lenses, the needles painted on all the gauges, the hood area would need to be cleaned up quite a bit. The air rail plugs were simply "crimped" closed. They should have been removed and the proper toyota plugs installed. Nice truck but you still haven't posted pictures of the undercarriage, front knuckles etc.
