Hello all,
Looking for help with pin diagram for the round plug on back of 74 fj55 instrument gauge. Appears a little different than the fj40 pin arrangement. Been searching for a few days to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pics for reference, my gauge is the first pic

That diagram is kinda small and hard to orient and read.
I'd consider making my own diagram based on which pin connects to which gage via which pin.
Wiring color may be of some assistance because you can verify your work with the manual.
My tool of choice for compiling this type of information is my fluke meter set to the continuity beeper setting.
Connect to pin one, and root around til you find a trace that beeps and gallows it to a Guage or light.
Then do pin 2
If you plug even in and connect the black to ground, your beeper will tell you which pins are ground.
Hook it to power, same thing.
One wire should turn on with the headlights/markers that one is for illumination.
Make a diagram/list/ chart and write it out in pencil first, but the infi you need is most trustworthy when you retrieve it yourself in my experience.

Is yours an ammeter or charge light type?

I'll upload some pics from the OEM 1977 all models wiring diagrams service manual for the fj55.

Thank you everyone for the information. You’re all awesome I think with the shared diagrams I am dialed in now.
Do you need the round plug. I have one with about 8” of each wire will give you free of charge. Just pay shipping.
