1974 FJ40 Part numbers? (1 Viewer)

I have a 1974 Federal emission FJ40. Does anyone have Napa parts numbers for the following?

-- Coil wire. Long wire that goes from fender to distributor. The spark plug sets they have are for the short coil wire. Where the coil is located on the engine block.
--Distributor Cap. It looks like I have the small distributor cap. The one I got is too big.
--Distributor Coil. The coil they sell does not fit the coil wire that is currently on the rig. The old coil wire will not snap into the new Napa distributor coil.

The distributor changed from the extra small cap distributor in 9/73, so all Federal emissions '74 models would have used distributor 19100-60066 (CA spec part number is 19100-60080), which has the larger cap. Maybe the distributor was replaced at some point. Does your distributor still have the foil label with the 10-digit part number? A photo or two would help.

This is the picture of the distributor and coil. I’m waiting for another distributor to come from Napa.
Any suggestions on getting a longer distributor coil?

I’m also looking for a longer distributor coil cord. I bought NGK plugs and the distributor cord isn’t close to be long enough.

I cant remember when but the coil moved from the side of the block to the fender. (I think 75).
A later model set of wires should have the longer coil wire. 75 and newer.

Your probably correct! I have a 74 as well and I currently have coil on fender. I tried to order the plug through Toyota but it’s NLA. All the other companies that sell cruiser parts sell the correct length but have to buy it with the spark plugs.

I got the parts today at Napa. Everything fits and works.

Distributor Cap - Ep318. It is the small cap.
Coil - IC12sb
Spark plug wires - 700126. This set had a long and short distributor to coil wire

All parts from Napa. The numbers are what I found on the box.
