1973 FJ40 electrical question

The wiring diagram for my '73 FJ40 shows a white wire, with fuse, connected to battery positive that goes to the ammeter. What is the rating of the fuse?

Couple or more questions:
Are you sure it's a fuse shown on the schematic, and not a fusible link? If your ammeter is a 30 amp then you could use a 40 amp fuse to protect the 8ga white wire.

What book are you getting the schematic from?
Can you do a high res scan of the schematic for your 1973 and email it to me? :D It's one of the schematics I do not have on my site...
 
The diagram is from a 1973 factory chassis manual.
It could be a fusible link, it looks like a 'S' laying down:).
