1970 M35A2C, with drop side bed (rare). This truck is VA titled, and ready to go - complete with all bows, troop seats, and camouflage cargo cover, and just plan MEAN!

The truck itself is super clean - and definitely an eye catcher. It was purchased solely as a fun spring/summer project ride to have fun in Northern Virginia. We've now had our fun, and ready to move on to another project.

I purchased the truck this spring from a private seller in Pennsylvania. The previous owner's father is a professional diesel mechanic, who performed the following:

New Radiator
Removal of heads, and replacement of head gaskets
All new coolant/heating hoses
Replaced RR axle seal
New Cab Soft Top
Cab heater
1 new RR tail light
All engine fluids and filters flushed/swapped in Fall 2011

Since purchase in March, the following has been completed:
Fresh paint, from top to bottom (originally was 383 Camo, but looks incredibly better "with a tan")
Replaced all Trans/Transfer/Axle fluids
Addition of 12V power system with deep cell battery (for civilian electronics)
Marine Grade Fuse Box mounted in-cab
AM/FM/SD/MP3/USB player
Wake Tower Speakers
Twin 7.62mm Ammo Cans retro fitted to become 6x9 speaker boxes
12V Accessory Outlets
CB/PA system
Full 12V switch panel, still includes several blanks
Replaced axle vents
Added slide intermediate tool box in place of pioneer rack
Additional package item includes Pilot's intercom and two headsets
Bed mounted bottle openers
Fire extinguishers
Bottle Jack, Jack Stands, Air Hose, several spare parts, and more to go with it.

FDC (fuel density compensator) was bypassed by the Military in 1992 - which is good as it boosts efficiency, and avoids other problems commonly associated with the FDC set-up. These trucks will still run on about anything, with the right mixture. The previous owner nor myself however have never run anything but Diesel mixed with Outboard Oil given low sulfur content in today's diesel fuels.

Turbo is a "D" turbo, which is much more tolerable than the "Whistler, C" turbos. Still has a nice turbo sound, and runs very smooth.

This truck is currently titled, and registered as an Antique Vehicle.

PRICE: $9500

With the FDC bypassed, you can no longer run straight gasoline. They run well on gasoline, you just need to adjust the FDC...Are you firm on the price?
