Parting Out 1969 FJ55

It's on bill of sale only, unfortunately. In Missouri, getting title for it would take 3+ years and be prohibitively expensive. That's why I think it's best as parts.

Will gladly sell/trade it to someone whole on bill of sale only for the right price. Otherwise, I think it best that I take what I need from it and help others with some parts they need.

I really hope you find someone to take her whole. If you do part her out, I'm interested in every bit of wiring. When the time comes, please shoot me a PM with what you think you might want.
Also interested in rubber seal between cowl and underside of hood on the PS if it's still there, seat belts, and wiper arms.
Thanks,
Jason

Don't need title here :)

Bob, do you have a 69 in your collection? I'll try to get more photos of it soon so you guys can see just how rough this piggie is. If you're interested in the whole thing, I'll do what I can to help you keep it together. We live a long freaking way from one another, though. haha

Shoot me a PM if serious.

Thanks for your interest. Sounds good! I'll have to check to see if the rubber seal and seatbelts are still there when I'm home. Others have already expressed interest in the wiper arms, but I'll put you on the list for those. Will be in touch via PM...

That factory dash mounted sliding ashtray that sits under the radio hole is a rare item. They only came on the earliest pigs though the later ones
have the mounting holes for it. Great looking parts pig

Cool bit of information. It's neat learning about all of the little differences over the years. My other pig is a late model, and I didn't even notice this one didn't have door mounted ashtray until you commented.

In order to save some, others have to be sacrificed. Nobody likes to part one out, but it just has to be sometimes. I for one would be up the proverbial creek if I couldn't of gotten parts from others.

Thanks man for taking the time and effort to dismantle this one.

What about fan switch and blower motor resistor.? Also turn signal relay? do any of these items work. my fanumber only works on high setting.

Sorry for overlooking your comment, @71greenpig ! I do not know the condition of any of those parts. I plan to rig up a gravity fuel feed and battery to see if I can the engine to run before disassembly. I'll check those parts out when I get the battery in. If I can't confirm they work, I'll make you a hell of a deal on those parts and you can install and try them yourself.

Thanks, Ron. It sucks, but you're right that some must be sacrificed to keep others on the road.

No :(

Interested in the front blinkers if avail. And maybe some of the surrounding fender if it's not worth saving... Would love to install the early signals on my project piggie...

Hey guys,

I picked this 1969 pig up locally a couple weeks ago to part out. My other pig is a late model so most parts don't interchange, but there are a few bits and pieces I plan to use. The rest of it is available.

It is a stocker... so 1F, column shift, drum brakes. Rough, but fairly complete.

I don't have much invested, and not looking to make money. Just want to recoup what I paid, so my prices will be fair.

I'll be home Thanksgiving weekend to pull parts and try to get the engine running. Let me know what you might need!

Located in Springfield, MO area.

Hey cruiserbrett, I have a trade worked out with another mud member for the blinkers. Will let you know if anything changes. Thanks!

Hey! I just posted a "WANTED" ad. Curious if you'd sell me the little pad that mounts beneath the radio? This one, in pink:

Sure thing! Can anyone confirm that that piece is the same on all pigs? Note that my pig has an early model dash, whereas your photo show a late model dash.

VERY cool! I'll do a little research, but I'm pretty confident that piece will fit. I'll get right back to you to confirm.
