Finally got back from a vacation in Ireland and got to install the new fuel sender
Doing manual calibration kinda sucks. The ohms still jump around because getting a good ground while it's outside the tank sucks. Unfortunately, all my spare bolts are still in storage, so I had to use my arthritic hands to hold it tight. It helps if you know the range, though. Empty is 999 ohms, 1/3 tank is 38, 2/3 is 34 and full should be 30. Once you figure this out, it's relatively easy to hit the set button once those numbers appear.
Tightened everything down permanent like, and it appears to be fixed. But we'll see.
