Looks like I am going to have to get some more brake parts. My rig is a 1969 but it was made in 11/1968. I have 2 manuals and a picture off of sor.com and none are the same. So do u know if the brake line itself goes into the wheel. Cylinder directly
drivers side then to a union on back then to rubber hose. Or does it have a single union in front with bango bolt holding it in the wheel cylinder then goes over to a double union with bango bolt and then to rubber line. Or do I have passenger side reght. The pictures I sent were of passenger side please let me know. Thanks john

I have all those pieces.

Looks like you have the T fitting upside down.
Assembly is banjo at both wheel cylinders, tube to the T which should be bolted to the backing plate, then rubber hose going up to the junctions on the frame. HTH, John

John is correct. Right part, installed wrong. Guess you're already set then. LMK if the OEM glass or frame interest you. IMG_1041.JPG

Already a head of u. I bought all new one and have cast nut wired to axle housing. I also need 2 more of these for front for sure do u have a decent brake booster and master cylinder that will work on this 68 40. I will get back to u in a little while if I need more brake parts. I am no stranger to fun toys if the are chevy or ford. Those are all my dad's I wouldn't trade the 40 for all of then. This rig seems to be tough I just came to be able to find the right manual.

I will be in the shop in a couple of hours. I'm out on a bike ride right now. IMG_1044.JPG

Check with Mark on the glass.

If you're not looking for NOS, somebody told me that cruisercorps sells an aftermarket glass pretty reasonably, and are already set up to ship them.
