All original rust-free body. Frame off restomod.
Vortec Conversion, automatic transmission.
Vintage Air AC System.
Powdercoated frame.
Rebuilt axles.
Valley Hybrids Orion transfer case
TLC ICON Fuel Cell
Dakota Digital Dash
Etc Etc


Restoration started by Georg Esterer at Valley Hybrids, then finished by one of his old workers. Finished last summer. A few things to finish are final hook up of AC system, install side mirrors, weatherstripping, side mirror install...nothing major. I was going to break down her back down and paint but love the patina so much but haven't finished the last small details. Located in Sonoma County, CA. Will post more pics this week.

What Gen/model Vortec, and do you know the backstory on the engine? Was it taken apart/rebuilt during your build process?

That is good looking patina…wouldn’t change it.

5.3 L Vortec from a wrecked truck. 40k miles I believe. I’ll dig through my emails.

Forgive my ignorance, did the 67 not come with a rear heater?

Love the truck, seems reasonable if looking for a resto-mod. The patina is basically perfect.
