lol! Of course it’s taking longer than expected but think the final product will look amazing and be solid for another 50 years! Updated painted pics sooner than later to come….

…any teaser pics available? (We even like ones with pink primer)

p.s. I full understand things take longer, and cost more, then expected.

Hopefully I get pics or updates soon ! My painters shop has a big project going so he’s working 14 hr days and not a lot of time for my LV. No one will ever know how long these take to get fixed up unless they have done it. I have piles of cleaned and some new parts to put on..

Finally getting color on! Roof Done.

I just have to ask.... Why not pull the prop rod out? Why prime over the grommet, the washers, the cotter key...?? It's so easy to remove before priming. When I got my LV, the PO had done the same thing and painted it green. I had to remove it all, soak it in lacquer thinner and clean the hell out of it just to paint it correctly.

He pulled it off🤟 it’s an amazing paint job (not a frame off) and going to be a driver not a show truck. Supposedly will be done in 2 weeks.. then reassemble and list for sale😜

For Sale? No love for the LV?

It will be For Sale.. I have too many cruiser’s😂 (If there ever is such a thing) Just picked up a new BJ73 crawler so my kids can drive the FJ60 Crawler on the trail with me. I love the LV! It’s been a fun 3 year journey and now it will be complete and back on the road with all its body painted and ready for another 50 years!

Cygnus white top/ interior and an Arles blue ( old Land Rover color) as cadet blue I thought was a little light. Wanted a deeper blue.

That’s what I’m modeling this after. It was my inspiration!
