For sale is a 1966 Toyota Land Cruiser, known as an FJ40, in rare Spring Green (aka Sea Foam Green). This lil funster has roughly 150k miles and is a near complete original. It runs absolutely smooth, which could equal a daily driver or kept as a classic for the weekends. This model comes with the straight 6 cylinder with the 3spd on the tree and vacuum assisted transfer case for 4 wheel drive. The seats and interior are in excellent shape.

Recently refreshed for reliability and drivability. New brake shoes all around. The motor has just been refreshed with new: head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, plugs, valve timing, head was resurfaced including a magnaflux wash and a pressure test, new radiator (brass), cooling hoses, etc.

So many extras here!!! The vehicle has both the soft and hard tops and many extras including spare a complete and recently rebuilt engine (use for parts or swap or resell).

Sale includes:

Hard Top (pictured) + a Soft Top in kakhi
Original documentations like owners manual and factory/dealer service manual
Spare 1F motor complete with a manifold, distributor, complete head and oil pan (motor recently rebuilt)
2 spare carburetors
Complete set of aftermarket warn hubs
Front and rear axles
Other nic-knack items

Asking $7,500 but will consider serious offers. Call, PM or email me directly to schedule appointment. Phone (650)434-3522 and email goldnugget82@yahoo.com

Don't think this is a candidate for those interested in trying to recreate a rock-crawler / rubicon type vehicle.

Very nice!

You're damn right it is ~ ~ ~ :flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2:

I'm kidding. It's alright for sure but I've gotten sunk by my daily driver LX470. With both fuse/junction boxes blowing out and a bad drivers side actuator and master switch, I'm flat out of patience, time and money.

PM your email to me so I can send you pics. Oh yes, and the paint is probably pretty original but in only fair condition. Definitely lost it's shine and has faded in other areas. But still really decent given its age and condition.

Is the paint also known as Sea Foam green?

Hendog, yes it is. Not officially but it's commonly referred to that way. I think Sea Foam is a US automaker term but so similar you can't really tell a difference.

Reduced to $7,500

Fj40

Email sent for more pics.

Is that interior original? Mine had the same look, though not in that condition. Is there anywhere to get replacement seat covers like these?

Not sure about seat covers.

Not sure about seat covers.

Those seats look like cloth with vinyl sides; the originals would have been all vinyl and coral in color...
