That's enough to make colangut take another look. Your 292 has been spinning in his head for sure. Now I wished I'd taken the time to try it on for size when I saw it. Hmmm. {Hint: me expressing interest in a truck always makes it easier to get other buyers off the fence.;p}

yes, aluminum Aqualu beds. they make them for swb and lwb. spendy, but if you figure in that not very much body work is needed and they will not rot, then they are cool.

The 292 is a great motor and this particular 292 from a HD truck is the ''best of the breed". A well tuned 292 will snort pretty hard when you stomp on it, un godly low end torque!
