I am looking to buy this truck right now. But I a not sure what it is. Notice the non-folding windshield and the strange door stampings? Anybody know what this is?

Oddest thing I have ever seen. Anybody?

I think it is a fiberglas cowl... You may have better luck and responses if this is posted over in the 40s - 55 section.

it looks like the front half of a V, modified into a pickup.

From my understanding that is a rare truck!
I would investigate more. Go to the 40's section and inquire.
What your showing is a truck version. Toyota Museum has a wagon version picture here

Cool find! It definitely looks like a FJ45 LV wagon that has been modified into a pickup.

ive seen photos of that before ,someone thought it was a one off factory truck when they were selling it and wanted a lot of money .going to the scrapper ?if its done nice fix it and drive it

Sorry, I thought I had put it in the 40s section.

OK, It looks like it is a LV, but from the google machine it looks like LVs were specifically a station wagon 4 -door SUV machine and I can't find a single picture of it being built as a truck. Anyone know differently? If it is a factory truck (I have head from TLC.com that the LV bodies were made by Suzuki for Toyota) I would assume they would be a rare bird. I am trying to get more pictures of it, I may have to have my guy run over and take a look at it.

Look closely at the chassis it says ...... Vin# LV45 000 000 001 :D

Whatever it is.....the bezel is upside down also.

how is it an LV when it is RHD? wouldn't it be just a plain old V?

I don''t think this one has been posted before, there was another a month ago here in the state....but its was different

regardless....it once was a FJ45 wagon, body was not made by Suzuki but by Gifu Body(they made firetrucks and other sorta one off LC, but the wagon was a production vehicle)

3pups is on it. The 'L' in any of all y'all trucks denotes LHD but you guys knew that.

Interesting to note, from what I can see all V's and LV's wiper arm mounts are ambidextrous. I saw an FJ45V in South Australia that had a LHD wiper arrangement on it! Nearly fell off my chair!

posts appear to come out of the same location, so it's just the orientation of the wiper arms on the splined shafts

Well thank you all for your posts. The truck is in South Africa and I am north about 18 hours. The owner will not reply to requests for more photos, so even though, as you say, it is a cut station wagon, I have nothing additional to add. Thanks for your input.

no more than that 1 pic? bummer

thanks for the location, seen a few of the 45V wagons from your parts
