Is it possible to run 15" stock rims with a disc brake set up? Spacers? Have a set with all the clips etc. Wondering if its worth refurbishing them?

Its a non issue now haha the rims are welded i looked closer at the pics. Time to blast and paint them.

Can't the rims be welded and then the rivet heads ground down? Not ground down far enough for the rivet to fall out (I don't think it would anyway) but just enough to clear?

Its not the rivets that are the problem. The piece on the center section the folds over (for the rivet to go through) contacts the caliper. However, I have used riveted wheels with disc brakes. A little bit of persuasion with an angle grinder and a 1/4" spacer will allow the riveted wheels to fit.

just wanted to get some more feed back on modifying the riveted wheels to fit disc brakes. Has anyone else done this?

Just bought a set and they of course do not fit, I'm bummed. Try and return them to the guy, or grind them down? opinions would be greatly appreciated

Thx

Personally I wouldn't grind on a wheel. I'm sure someone will chime in and say they've done it and driven thousands of miles without issue. I wouldn't feel safe driving on wheels that I've altered with a grinder. If I were you, I'd try to return them and get new welded OEM wheels that are still available. Money well spent in my opinion.
