I have a slight problem with sleeves / tubes in my 12HT cylinder head.
The engine rebuilder who pressure tested the head before skimming just said - there´s is a leakage into some of the head bolt bores...
An good hour of searching the web had given me just one goal... this meber has had just the same problem...
has anyone replaced head bolt sleeves or tubes before?:
And this descibes it all - but has anybody of you guys the measurement of the sleeves / tubes required ?
A long search in the www reveiled not one hint of that new tubes neither somebody else who described that issue.
I can machine this tubes at work....but I´m quite puzzled that there is not more information in the web about it.
Would be interesting what you know about it.
