I have a 12H-T that I picked up last year. Plans to swap my 2F have changed. Selling the motor/parts and the 87' 60 that has been my daily driver. The parts below are from a salvaged 60/62 from Japan.

12H-T 285,827KM (180K miles-ish)

12H-T workshop manual

turbo tach

rad, shroud and fan/clutch

fuel filler neck

wiring harness

bell housing, clutch fork and flywheel

new water pump

air filter housing

might be a few other misc items.

For what it's worth, I purchased these parts from a business in CA that guaranteed the motor. I'm guessing they would honor this to the new owner(?) - not sure, I'll ask.


$5500.00 for everything, I do not want to sell listed items separately, sorry. Able to ship, local pick up would be better.

Hate to see you pull back on this project. I believe you and I spoke prior to you buying this motor from Duke. What’s the story on your 60? Is it listed elsewhere? You should have no trouble moving this setup. Thanks. Jim
 
Hi Jim. Yeah, I have had a hard time deciding what to do. Need to free up some funds and it was either sell this package and 60, or the 80 w/ under 100k miles. I decided I would try this first. I haven't listed the 60 yet, wanted to wait until the engine sold. Are you interested in the 60? Feel free to message me, or call. Thanks Jim!

Sounds like a good plan. Not looking for a 60 at this time. Good luck with moving this. Don’t believe you’ll have a difficult time.
 
Sorry, I don't have a way to bench test it and I wasn't provided a compression test. It does still have the engine oil, I guess that could be tested?

I had a hard time finding one, so I jumped on it knowing it was a wrecked vehicle... figured the motor was ok.
 
Man...I can tell you this is a good price if you're looking to get into a 12HT. These are all used and there's never a guarantee (ask @roma042987 ) on how they will hold up. But they are rebuild-able and all around great motors. Good luck with the sale Adam. Maybe you can post your 60 in this thread and someone may have an interest in the package. Patrick (@dogfishlake ) recently sourced both to create his new 12HT powered 60. Would seem there's someone else out there looking to take the plunge :)
 
Yeah, that's a pretty smokin deal imo. Kinda looks like an AC bracket on there too. Like Jim said, even if it needed a rebuild it would be a good deal and I bet it doesn't.

Should def sell at $4800. If I had the cash I probably would. Wouldn't mind a diesel 55!
 
I marked it sold in the thread tools. I'm a moderator, not sure what other options people get to see, but it's a tool for us to change the listing type. Congrats on selling. 12H-T is a nice motor.
