Itsky asked me to post some pics of my GPS RAM mount install, so here ya go!

First I figured where I wanted it and this is the best place for it.

Then I drilled the holes.

I had to get other screws than what was supplied since they weren't long enough. So I painted the outside of the screws black for appearance.

Then I bolted it up.

Here it is all mounted up! I like this spot cause it allows the passenger to swivel the mount and operate the GPS without removing it. I'm going to lower the GPS mount 4" or so and mount a computer systems monitor/rear camera screen on a RAM mount in it's current place.

Thanks for the complement Itsky and I hope this helps!

I had that exact intake

I didn't realize that your claim was in regards to a sealable air intake. Yes, I have a K&N Air Charger and installing that alone freed up space to add a 2nd battery beside the firewall.

This intake seems to be what you were looking for in V8 too:

Had that exact intake when I bought my 4Runner, but had the dealer change it out for a stock intake two years later because I live in Cali. There is no legal intake for the V8 in California, so I couldn't pass smog. When I called Volant, they told me they don't make a California smog legal intake and neither does anyone else. I called a Toyota place regarding a TRD intake and they told me the same thing and explained why (forgot exact reason). I was a bit bumbed, but hey, at least the dealer exchanged it for stock w/ no hassle. :)

New Tires

So I got some new tires over the weekend. The boys at Les Schwab hooked me up. Maybe because I've bought more tires than some commercial fleets!!
Went with 265/70 R17 and the look awesome!

looks clean! You plan on doing any offroading with it now?

Yes I'm going to put a spacer up front and trick the airbags toget some more clearance. We've been on a few trails already mostly some unimproved gravel roads.

Proof

This is up the mirror lake highway in Utah.

Wasatch cruisers did a great service project and I took my girls up with me. I did get made fun of bringing a lexus that everyone lovingly called the "Minivan"

Ok I'm going to need a build thread on your rig and I have lots of questions! We have an '05 so I would love more info on:
1. What you did with your 4WD
2. CB mount and set-up
3. Winch and light set-up (switches/etc.)

Let me know if you have a detailed build thread cause if not we'll have to talk on the phone. :D

Thank in advance!!!

Great looking trucks guys!!

I´ve just got a 2007 Toyota Prado (Lexus GX470) 4.0 V6 to tow my ´84 FJ40 and went to Copiapó (Dakar Rally zone) for a weekend just to test the Prado in those huge dunes... and I was amazed how well the V6 took it!!
