Had to put in a Kaymar extension bracket to stop the tyre from rubbing on the door. Will facilitate a larger tyre!

Mine isn't so tricked out since it's a daily driver. It's a 2011 4Runner Trail Edition w. KDSS and Nav. It now sports RR sliders and Nitto TerraGrapplers, and I think a set of bilstein shocks w/o a lift are next.

Hey guys, I'm faring afield from the 60-section forum. I'd always kinda thought that these newer yotas were just too ... civilized to be fun for off road use.

Then I saw this thread. There are some SICK trucks in here. I'm now officially a believer. Great looking rigs, gents.

MOTOV8R,
More info on that rear tire carrier please

Modeled it after one I saw on Toyota120. It's 2x3 .120 wall for the main tube, 2x2 by 1/8th tube for the tire carrier frame. Bought a kit that had the latch, plastic bumper, hinge and tire mount plate. About 250 in parts and materials with a good amount of left over steel. Out of town now but can get more pics if you are interested. I plan to add some rear qtr protection and tie it into the bumper as well.

Finally did something to the GX!

Well after 11 months, I finally did something fun with the GX. Not huge, but I put a Yakima rack on it this afternoon. Next will probably be tires, but this should help give it a sporty look. Let me know what you think.

Here is mine, not much done with it yet, but I will be adding some all-terrain tires or something on her pretty soon! Hopefully after a year, I'll put more mods onto it (besides just HIDs right now =P).

Here's a pic @ night, the fogs are still the stock bulb in this pic, though I changed it already.
