Proudly affiliated with Terrain Tamer 4WD (a special thanks to Georg Esterer for making this happen).

We’ve sent “early notice” emails to everyone that attended last years event (and another ten or so that wanted to be added to the list), so if you didn’t see an email, perhaps check your spam folder.
We’ll send “follow-up” emails once registration opens. 😊

CHES Solutions Group has been one of our top tier supporters for the last couple of years, and although their connection to this event may seem odd, the following will explain why it is not. We are honored to have them onboard. 😊
———————————————————————————————————

CHES is a women-led non-profit consulting firm dedicated to working jointly with partners to advance the work of human service organizations serving people in rural and urban communities. Our team supports and assists agencies in meeting the challenges of developing, navigating and sustaining successful programs and initiatives. CHES uses a scientific data driven, assets based approach, central to program sustainability.
While our agency may be viewed as a non-traditional sponsor of the Peter E. Brown 70 Series Meet and Greet event, there is a deep and long lasting connection to the Landcruiser Experience. Peter E. Brown is the husband of the CHES Chief Operating Officer Rashmi Adi-Brown. Her husband started his love for Landcruisers long before he bought his first one in the 80's. At one point his wife joked often about his "fleet" of 6 Cruisers. Sadly, in November 2022 Peter was diagnosed with ALS, a devastating disease that he succumbed to in February 2025.
Peter was a founding member of this event many years ago. When the current event planners found out about his diagnosis they graciously began to raise money for the ALS foundation. After the first year, Rashmi discussed with Kay Hoffman the Chief Operating Officer( who passionately wanted to support the cause) the idea of sponsoring the event, Kay enthusiastically said YES!!! CHES is honored and proud to be a part of this event. It is our hope that through this generous fundraising strides and breakthroughs will be accomplished through the research of this tragic disease. Peter's beloved two 40's have been left to his daughter Sunni as he passed on down his love of CRUISERS to his ride or die Pee Wee Friend! CHES appreciates all of the other sponsors, supporters and participants sharing their time and passion not only for the love of Landcruisers but for honoring the memory of Peter.

We are greatly appreciative of their support. 👍

WHY ATTEND OR FOLLOW THE PETER BROWN 70 SERIES ALS BENEFIT MEET 'n GREET?

As the ONLY 70 Series focused event in North America, the ALS Benefit is THE place to see dozens of 70 Series in one place, AND meet owners, importers and dealers of these vehicles.

If you are interested in non-USA Land Cruisers, then please consider your attendance this September. Go for a ride-along, meet 70 owners and learn how to acquire, import, maintain and modify these special vehicles. Most Toyota enthusiasts consider the 70 Series to be the direct successor to the original J25/40 Series and perhaps the most robust, durable and enduring version of the venerable Land Cruiser.

The 79 Series below is an over the top restoration of a 25 year old Saudi government truck to like-new condition, including paint, cargo box, interior trim, engine rebuild, electrical components, rubber seals, exterior lighting, etc. down to all vehicle decals and trim. Not all 70s that come to America are at this level of execution (or budget), but there is a 70 Series out there for every buyer and some can be had at reasonable cost.

One topic area of access and education at the event is how to source service, repair and upgrade parts if you do acquire a 70 Series. Some parts can be had at the local dealership, but most are not in the US Toyota parts system.

Luckily, our lead sponsor for the event is Terrain Tamer 4WD - a global supplier of service, repair and accessory parts for offroad Toyotas, including 70 Series vehicles. Their North American branch is managed by Georg Esterer, (@orangefj45) owner of several 70 Series and a leading export on Land Cruiser service, repair and modification. Terrain Tamer staff will be on hand to wheel, hang out and answer questions about how to care for your 70 Series - to keep in on the road and on the trail.

Hoping to make it out to this one!

In response to an enquiry asking the following: “Can I damage my Land Cruiser on the trails?”
——————————————————————————————————

Answer: We offer a variety of trails that range from easy and scenic to very challenging. It’s up to the individual to pick the ones they want to tackle based on their experience level and accessories on their vehicle. At past events we’ve had folks pick the easier trails on Friday and upgrade to the more challenging trails on Saturday and vice versa. Our goal is to make sure you can drive your rig home after the event.
😁

Building on Charles' answer: Weather and traffic can trails and the trails at Windrock are no exception, including the green trails. Due to this there is inherent risk on even easy options. Best solution is stay alert and attentive while on the trails. If you encounter an obstacle or trail conditions that you are unsure of or uncomfortable with, stop and ask for aid. This is a Land Cruiser event and this community will be with you to help as needed.

This list is proof that you can depend on the Cruiser community to answer the call when it comes to supporting a good cause. I’m humbled by the quantity and quality of supporters of our event. View attachment 3959812
I had not noticed Car Cave as a sponsor before. Big step. I have visited their shop/show room a couple of times over the last few years. They bring in a significant number of Cruisers from overseas markets. Kudos to the event team in reaching out to them and making this connection.
