What info do you guys have on sliders for a 2002? My next projects are sliders and a roof rack. I'm also interested in taking the fender flares off. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

You have a bunch of options, they all look somewhat the same. Depends on how much you want to spend.

Not wanting to spend a whole lot.. Best for the money?

Easy. Outpost Off Road. Metal Tech quality with value pricing. Give Mark or LT a call and they'll treat you right. And you can option them to your liking.

Cruisin Offroad. Jason is making mine right now.
He is well known with the 80's guys. My 100 will be his template

Ahhhh you own the rig Jason's mocking up sliders for. Let me know how they work out, he's going to build a rear bumper with spare tire swing arm for my 100, then maybe sliders.
Jason built sliders for my 80 series and they worked great! You should be very happy:steer:

I agree. Metal Tech is about as good as it gets from a customer service standpoint. You will most likely get Brandon on the phone if you call, but you can count on them pointing you in the right direction no matter what.

Hate the whole "Helicopter" sliders. There are some good ones out there, however but this whole "I don't want to spend much" stuff I don't understand. Why not save that extra month and get the good stuff?

I agree with this too. However, there are plenty of 100's with sliders that will never even see a scratch. Nothing wrong with that, but why spend top $ on something you'll likely never use, but want "just in case"? Nakman had a great quote about choosing SLEE or Metal Tech sliders.... "One stops bullets and the other is bulletproof"

I'm most likely never going to have to use them, its a "just in case" thing. It's my daily driver, and I like to offroad. It's more of an expedition rig, and I want to be able to get anywhere I need to. Ya know?

I've had my Slee step slider for a few weeks now. Really like them, and so do the kids. Plus, they will be a nice step for me if I ever decide on a roof rack.

wait, who figured out how to save money on these rigs!!?!? :p

WKOR here, beefy monsters, love em.

Balto - Where are you located? Depending upon your location, you might find someone more local whose product may be a little more expensive, but because shipping is no longer an issue, becomes more reasonable.

BTW, I had a local person fabricate mine and they are great.

I'll probably post some pictures when done.

Located in Conway Arkansas. Haven't looked around here much yet.

Will these fit an lx with ahc? I notice on photos they have 3 attachment points and there is no option on the website to order an lx version. Anyone have these on an lx?
