I'm 6'4" and the driver's seat it a little too close for comfort. Does anyone know if there is a mod for the 100 like there is for the 80 series? I couldn't find anything after searching. I can drive it just fine but it's the most cramped I've been in a vehicle for some time.

following, I would love another inch or so for my 6'3 body to be more comfortable

Doesn't look like anyone's created an aftermarket solution yet, but with enough time and money the proper modifications can be made to allow for a greater adjustability range

Seat Extensions for 100 Series

I am only 6' but have long legs.

I have done a "tilt mod" on a few of my vehicles by putting washers/busings under the front only of the drivers seat mounts and buying longer seat mount bolts if needed. This tilts the seat back further. This only works if you are comfortable driving from a reclined position, similar to a corvette. It doesn't actually gain you leg room, but can be a little more comfortable than being folded over.

I did the opposite to one of my vehicles where my short family could not see over the dash on the passenger side. I added old shock bushings as spacers to the passenger seat rear mounts to raise it up an inch.

I have added washers and longer bolts to the under side of the seat brackets in several cars to date and usually it seems to require a very small adjustment for me to perceive a huge difference?
I don't really understand why but it does not take much to make it a lot better for me.

On my Tundra I used 1" rubber suspension bushings at all 4 corners of the seat mounts and it is great!
On my Prius and CRV I used brackets from a company called Extend My Seat that do the job.

I am about the do the Element and mainly to just raise the tracks for better height of the seats.
I am planning to use square tube steel to lift and move the seat brackets rearward some, leg room is almost unbelievable already but seat height and angle are way too low for me as stock sits.

So far I am OK with the 100 seats but I always seem to get around to modding them anyway too.

I'll come up with something. Once I have a solution I'll post it and see how many orders we can get. If it's enough for a small run I'll open it to a group order.

Queequeg one thing I will mention. I am very close on headroom as well so brackets that would increase the height of the seat a noticeable amount are a no go for me.

 6'5" and this is one of my complaints with my Series 100

I fabbed some seat extension brackets about 4-5 years ago and they are great. Tried to sell some but back then no takers. I think the 100 crowd has evolved some over the years and wouldn't be scared to drill out the rivets on the rear seat rail floor brackets today :p...which is a requirement for seat extender brackets.

But I think Landtank offers/offered seat extension brackets for UZJ100?

Would you be willing to make these again or at least share the drawings?

I'll have a look...the drawings were on a crashed HDD...but I can post a pic of the brackets once I get to my LC (parked remotely). But for a guy like Jason @reevesci it would be childs play ;)...the front brackets are just brake bent 3/16" steel...and the rear OEM mounts just get relocated pushing the seat back about 2".

6'-5" and very interested. I was expecting more room coming from an 80 to a 100. It's my wife's though so I don't drive it all of the time. My 2016 Tundra has all sorts of room.

I'm 6'3" and sit fairly close as I like the wheel of all my cars virtually in my lap, but found the thigh support to be terribly lacking no matter where I positioned the seat.

I tinkered around and eventually got this solution. It doesn't actually give you more legroom, but you might feel like it since your knees can be higher/more bent. MUCH more comfortable now. And all the thigh support you'd ever want.

No Offense but your mod looks sketchy. No way I could trust that set up in an emergency stopping/avoidance situation.

I knew that was coming! Still factory fastened on the rears, high strength bolts and steel. Yeah, maybe a little less strength than OEM but isn't that what air bags and shoulder belts are for? ;)

At least I'm comfortable.
