Just bought 03 with 130k. I paid more than 16500. After going though it I can tell you I paid too much, and thats my fault. VCG is shot, brakes rattle pretty good right now, AC not blowing cold as of today. LOL! Ive got the worst luck. Based on the 2 pictures you posted of this truck its about in the same shape as mine for less money. I looked for a long time and thought I had a good Idea on the market, but maybe i dont. At 16500 you better jump on it if you like it, if not it will be gone by the weekend. Hell I might Buy it!!!! Wheres it at;)

Wonder what mines worth? 2005 old man emu 2" left Slee sliders new Lexus installed steering rack all records maintained by the book 147k miles all maintenance up to date, maintenance like new BFG KO2's 33", since new Las Vegas, Austin Texas vehicle no rust, bodies great.

Maybe I should buy yours :bounce2:

Concur on the wild swing of prices due to market conditions and local avail.

In 2010 I bought a '98 LC with 98k miles for $10.5k in a private transaction in NC.

In 2014, I bought a '01 LX470 with 105k miles for $15k and change at a stealership at Tysons Corner, VA.

I just picked up my 98 Hundy for $3k. Not a lot of rust but some. Center diff was locked on but was able to force the actuator to off so it is atleast drivable on the street.

I feel like I stole this thing and happy as a clam.

Side note, I am a hobby wrench, but good friend owns a shop where i perform my work for free with air tools and lifts etc...so these things don't scare me off as much if someone was going to a regular shop and getting hit in the head

Wow!!! You are winning for sure. I saw the rear end post on your other thread. Be sure to post some of your new ride.

Is there any way we can get a stickied post to the Classified 100 series section for pricing, mods? That way there's a one-stop shop for these types of questions. I see a lot of posts in the tech section for the same pricing questions/opinions, then it gets buried, then it gets re-asked, and re-asked, and re-asked...

There's a similar idea on the 200 series classifieds, and it frees up the tech forum a bit. Just a thought.

Thanks. I will definitely keep posting up. I have a lot of ideas and it will take time and $..both of which are real tight...first things first is to get this girl back and road ready

That looks like a nice one. I would be comfortable with 12k with timing belt and good tires. That is $2k right there. 2004 had some NAV screen issues but rebuilds are available now a decent price. The story seems good on yours.

If it does not have the optional curtain & side airbags I would pass at any price.
Does it have factory 17" wheels?

I laughed when I read this - The 100 usually sits until the winter when my bride drives it (it's has all the air bags) I usually drive my 40 or 45 and often for 6-8 hours in a day so the idea of side and curtain bags is a dream for most of my driving.

I might be moving to Saint Augustine Florida in the next couple of months when I get there I might decide to sell it and get me a LX 570 newer Land Cruiser even though this one should last me the rest my life based on its condition but I'll let everybody know. Mine doesn't even have a clunk anytime it's just smooth as silk :)

As long as your life insurance is paid up drive your 40:grinpimp: The reality is Im like you but Wilma's a new mom and should have the protection and safety the side curtains offer as does my wife and daughter.

Keep the hundy - yours is perfect. Plus you already went down the path of owning an LX570 right?

You're right not a rattle not a clunk and I've spent enough on it to make everything about perfect The only thing that is kind of screwed up driver seat on the side. I have used some vinyl gray spray that looks pretty good on it but I just have to keep re-doing it every few months. Only reason I was getting a new vehicle or might get a new vehicle is to punish my wife four making me move to Florida from Austin Texas;)
