So I have been lurking the for sale section and the prices of 100 series land cruisers are all over the place. What would a one owner 2004 (no rust, dealer maintained) 152,000 miles go for? The interior is perfect. There's a fair ding in the bumper, no accidents on the car fax. Has the nav but not updated. No mods, stock.

I purchased my 1999 Hundy about two months ago from a family in the East Bay Area of N. Commiefornia for $6,600.00 it's in real good shape for a vehicle with 209K miles and has the factory locker it was a good price. in my area of NW Nevada your truck without locker would fetch 10-12K easy.... well at least 10k easy.

Agreed with the $15-$16k crowd. Could be a bit less is a private party sale. I searched for 6 months and that's close to what I was seeing.

Prices are all over the place. 3 years ago I bought a locked 98 with 70k for $13,900

Dangit! That's a sweet deal! Why oh why did I wait sooooooo long to join the cult!? My 98 LX with 151k cost me $12k 2 months ago.

The market for anything "Overland/camping/outdoor" related is so saturated, it is not even funny. Toyota has taken it too a whole other level, that it's a "MUST HAVE" or else. Unless you have so much money, it's burning a hole in your pocket or you have to have it. Just wait! The trucks will be there tomorrow and the years after that, patience is a virtue. Something will come up and you will be thankful you did. I purchased all my vehicles at a steal due to circumstances of the sellers. 2 years ago; my 98-99' locked 100 series, I purchased @ 239k for $1,991.

The truck pricing varies on location, but expect to pay full price @ 12k-17k.

best wishes with your purchase.

I would say 16k if the timing belt has been done and the tires have some life left in them. I would bet it would sell pretty quick at that price.

If it meets your needs and you have that warm and fuzzy feeling. Buy and give it to Elliot to drive when he turns 16. Even if you pay more than you want it wont amount to much when you look at the amortization over the next 15 years.:grinpimp:

Like most have said, location plays a part.

There was one local 2004 LX470 158k that was listed at 14500 for 3-4 months and finally dropped to 12500. 1 owner but wasn't up to date on maintenance. I ended up with a 1 owner 04 LX at 116k with almost $16k worth of service all at the Lexus dealer (almost all major services were done 5-10k early except timing belt which was done at 104k). I got them down to $16.5.

15K to 16K in my market (Texas).

Wonder what mines worth? 2005 old man emu 2" left Slee sliders new Lexus installed steering rack all records maintained by the book 147k miles all maintenance up to date, maintenance like new BFG KO2's 33", since new Las Vegas, Austin Texas vehicle no rust, bodies great.
