Sup Everyone.

So few months back I woke up and was about to get coffee and turned on my 03 land cruiser and the whole light show popped up. Issues:
- All ABS lights are on
- Cant shift to D until and unless I press that button
- Windows dont roll down
- Daytime running lights are not working
- Headunit AC controls are not working on the screen.

I have had few people check the truck and not much success. Checked all the fuses and they look just fine. Checked the main relay near the battery and that is fine too. We also had a OBD Scanner connect the car but OBD port wont read and fails conenction. Has power but no readings. (Makes me think it is the ECU?). All windows are getting power of 13.5V yet they dont roll down. The brakes are running find and the ABS system has been working fine as well based on tests done. All wheels sensors also have been replaced.

I have no idea as to what to do next.

Any help is appreciated!

I would look in to the ECM next. They live behind the glove box and trucks with leaky windshields aren't a great place to be an ECM. Some can be rebuilt.

If you end up needing to replace it, you'll need one from an identical truck and the P#s must match. There can be several P#s per year, even. There's a "handshake" process to get it talking to the truck when you install it, very easy with techstream.

Likely not an ABS issue. ABS shuts down with almost any DTC (Code, CEL).

ECM don't usually just go bad. It would "normal" take and event to hurt/damage one. Like a short. Also we must consider roden damage and water entry damage.

I'd first work to get OBD port working. Which will very likely, lead you to key to solving all these issue.

Think back about, what was done to vehicle, before the started of issues.
Also list a aftermarket toys added, anything that connects to wiring or result in wires being moved
Hunt for rodent damage or signs.
Make sure to check footwell, junction box fuses.
Note if windshield every replaced. If so, check for air/water entry leaks.

The day before this happen I did go through a car wash so makes me think of water issue

Checked footwell and the fuses are all good.

I really have no aftermarket electric thing on the truck. No even spot lights or anything

Typically if water entry issue. Issue clears up, once dry. But over time, issues often become, permanent. Due to oxidation on contact points. The water leak into dash and junction boxes, is 98% of time from poor windshield install.
