Julie turned 170,000 on it taking it to 49 Tire for service so I missed the milestone.

I never did a start up build thread on it since it was already “built” just some specific threads on suspension and tires and stuff.

I can’t remember how many miles it had on it when I bought it. I’m going to try to dig back in this thread and see if I can find it.

Got it outfitted with Bluetooth and a back up camera so Berkley can start driving it. She’s 8 months into 16 and could care less about driving. She likes us to cart her around but that’s about to change.

20 years young. Here’s to 20 more.

Currently located in Denver. I will pay for a plane ticket, room, and board if anyone wants to fly out there and drive it back for me. Unless your name is Georg I will authorize a tiny bit of sightseeing :D

Found it. 135,000 miles by the time it made it back to Mississippi. 20 years young averaging 8000 miles a year.

Pair this with a high quality battery and never be short on juice again. Screw a dual battery setup. I’m sure it will fit any 4.7. You may have to replace a bolt with a stud on the early ones.

240 amp alternator for 03-04 Landcruiser 4.7L

This could go in any of several sections, but since there are more 100s in the group than anything else, I posted here.

I ran across this article again, and it made me smile. More proof of Toyota's quality:

Million Mile Tundra: The Tear Down

I’d love some details on his maintenance schedule and products. Didn’t see any of that in the article.

Did he really replace the timing belt 9 or 10 times?
