Hey sorry. Website error. The price is back down.

Has the price gone up on these kits or is there a mud discount? The OP listed the kits at $150 and the website price is $195?

Also, for those that have this installed already any feedback after install? (jonharis? - I noticed you installed this recently; happy overall?)

Thanks maxxmaven for correcting the price. I ordered one of your kits last night. I should have it installed pretty quickly and will post pictures and a report after installing and some on and off road testing.

Nice kit! Are the pucks polyurethane or delrin? Also, are the brackets powder coated or just buzz canned?

I'm behind on this. I've been in Moab and now I'm heading up to Montana to fish for a week. I'll get on this when I return. I did however get to see the real world differences between BL's and no BL's.

Jonharris, bluecruiser and I just spent a few days together "glamping"......that's "Glamour Camping" on easy trails and luxurious camp sites. They both have a 1' BL and I do not. Jon runs 33's currently (with 35s sitting on his garage floor.) Bluecruiser and I both run a "almost 35" (295/70/18MT)

You need to address the fan clearance and this kit will handle that. The fan will touch the shroud with a 1' BL and no mods. I did hear the tires touch the wheel wells on high speed big hits and full stuffs, where bluecruiser's went through clean. There are "look" issues as well if that matters to you. You will have gaps in places you didn't have them before.

If you run a taller true 35 like a 285/75/18, there is no question you need the BL kit. This past week was my first time out on the 35's. For anyone to say there is no issues running a 35 inch tire on a lifted 100 series is just plain wrong. There are fitment issues that have to be dealt with. This isn't that kind of thread, so I won't get into it, but if you're going to run 35s, add the Jonesy's Offroad 1" or .5" BL kit to the list of items you need to do it correctly.

Although, if you're just going in a straight line on the highway you should have no issues.

Yup! What he said!

!

Wow! That looks great. Just added it to my wish list!

What size tire is that?

I went 35's with the assumption that there would be little or no rubbing with basic mods. I fail to see how I will go anywhere without scrubbing or severe rubbing. I run no sways, so that opens up more uptravel for me. My 35's on the RTI ramp are so compressed into the fenders that I cannot turn the wheel without hitting the fender sheet metal on the top. Body lift is in my future, I just have to figure out how to get the rear body mounts off as the bolts are bent.

cut off wheel...had to do multiple bolts like this when i did the BL...my BL experience was pretty time consuming, but it will help out immensely with rubbing

Yup, I cut the rear most ones off on mine due to rust when I did the bodylift.

Absolutely no reason to fight those body mount bolts, cut them off! We supply new bolts, all you need to save are the factory washers.

Does the rear A/C plumbing handle the 1" body lift without any issues? How about the plastic splash shields between the frame and the inner fender?

All drop brackets and steering shims are now yellow zinc plated, same as the factory brackets you are replacing. Zinc plating will last for many years, rust free!

Everything attached to both the body and frame stretches. You should take this into account when installing the body lift.

We disconnected the splash guards at the base, AC lines stretched without issue, both front and rear.

These are some of the reasons a 2" body lift was not possible during our initial install test.

Zinc plating looks good.

How's those 1/2" kits coming along? I'm waiting to buy! I'll be on paternity leave from work really soon and it'll be the perfect time to tackle a fun project with lots of pics of course :)

How many people want a 1/2" kit?

I recently purchased the 1" kit. It is a very nice kit. I was hoping to pop these suckers in but to do it "right", it's going to take me some time. After studying everything that's affected between the frame and body, I'm going to have to fab up some spacers for the A/C lines and extend the splash shields. I don't want to risk straining any of the A/C hard lines and definitely want the inner fender splash shields in place. I'm in no rush... but I'll post pics when it's done.

Same boat for me. Time and an extra set of hands. Planning on Wednesday or Thursday of next week.
