When i had my 1inch, i had to fabricate a steering spacer. I went down to a 0.5" and it wasn't needed.
Just a heads up, if you are running DT headers, you may or may not have contact between the collapsible part of the steering shaft and the header tube. I did and had to lower my BL down to a 0.5" to alleviate this. Other had a 1" with DT header and did not have this issue.
Nice! If i were closer, i'd come and lend a hand. I'm really interested in the install process of the steering spacer and radiator brackets as that seems more obscure to me than the lifting of the body and putting pucks in place.

I wish.... perhaps I'm showing how slow I am at working on things but it took me 10-12 hours to do everything. There is a very good chance people will have issues with the rear body mount bolts. Mine took more time partially due to having to remove the drawers.
Good looking kit with a great price tag.
I think several people here would be interested in the steering extension if you happened to make them available.
Why did you end up not using extended pucks for the number 5 position body mounts? How about the hidden collision protection bolts under the second row?

^^I was just typing the same thing. Apounders truck is pretty stock with just a lift. I took a good look at my truck this morning. Just r/r on the sliders is about an hour all said and done. Then, there are a lot of other things to consider. I have a lot of wiring from my aux battery through the firewall, attached to my front/rear bumpers, HAM radio wiring is all run from the battery into the cab and out the transfer case shifter. The shifter will be an inch lower now, will all my wiring still clear?

I had zero issues with wiring or anything clearing. The steering was fine, all of my wiring was fine, charcoal canister stuff fine, brake lines, ABS lines, shift linkages all still good after the lift. Some people have slight issues, others do not.
Interested to see bumper fit,won't after the lift. Any way to help them fit better?
Any reason not to do a body lift to the front only? I'm running 33s and heavy springs in the rear, so no clearance issues at all for me, but I do like the appearance of a level stance.....but without the dreaded torque steer.
How would that work? Variable height spacers as you move toward the rear?

First off, I've been on vacation so I'm sorry for the silence.
The steering spacer kinda sucks only because of the confined environment. This is made easier with the removal of the driver seat which is necessary to get to the 3rd body mount (front to back).
The radiator brackets are cake, seriously In the 80 they are berried. In the 100 they are right there in the wide open. Go take a look yourself.
No, you should never lift the body of your vehicle unevenly. This would cause all kinds of trouble.
It all depends on what bumper syou have, the aftermarket bumpers definitely lend themselves to BL's. Apounders frotn bumper looks great, he doesn't have a rear bumper.
Brackets can be fabricated to raise your bumpers too.
I understand with things added it may take longer, but I think at most a long afternoon. If you are handy and familiar with turning a wrench this is a pretty straight forward job.

I want to do this and keep coming back to this thread! If this were a 1/2" lift kit, I'd be in. Have you guys given any consideration to maybe making a half inch kit?
I'm stock bodied. About the only armor I may ever add is slider steps. I'm thinking a more subtle 1/2" lift will better let me shim and move my stock bumpers to match easier.

1/2" BL will be listed on the website soon.
Unless you're running 35+ tires, I think the 1/2" is the better choice.
Has the price gone up on these kits or is there a mud discount? The OP listed the kits at $150 and the website price is $195?
Also, for those that have this installed already any feedback after install? (jonharis? - I noticed you installed this recently; happy overall?)
