nothing like waking up at 10pm and going to be at 9am.

yeah i too lost my job, been doing some software development for the first time in ten years and actually enjoying it. Got the job thru a friend and i was on the brink of losing everything. I had already sold a prized Ensoniq Synth of which only 500 were made (the Fizmo) and mine was mint being in its box for 8 years.

And i sold a Yamaha 12 string too...both sad losses...but i finally got employed again.

I wasnt gonna lose my LC100 tho. I had a plan in place if it came to that, but yeah lucky i didnt have to go there.

So i have a new job starting in August, gonna be interesting , but me being me....i'm thinking its gonna bore me to tears as they say here.

We'll see.

i can see me pulling out my remaining guitars and earning some cashola that way. (playing live in a band)
take care

This thread is entertaining, and enlightening at the same time.

I'm a full time "Best-Pal" to my 3 year old little guy.

During the day I spend my time reverse engineering automotive computers, and identifying the different calibration tables, arrays, functions and parameters. Once I make progress, I re-calibrate them for more power and or better fuel mileage. It's enjoyable and pays the bills, but I hope to be a business owner one day.

Cool to see the spread of professions here

I am petroleum engineer and recent Texas A&M grad. I'm on the reservoir side of things right now, so I calculate home much oil and gas we will be able to produce. I then determine if it is worth spending the money to try and get it out.
